                       Good morrow, both.

Macbeth
                                   Not yet.

Macbeth
                               I’ll bring you to him.

Macbeth
He does: he did appoint so.

Macbeth
                           ‘Twas a rough night.

Re-enter Macduff
Macbeth
What is ‘t you say? the life?

Bell rings
Enter Lady Macbeth
Macduff
                                        O gentle lady,
Enter Banquo
                        O Banquo, Banquo,

Lady Macbeth
                             Woe, alas!

Re-enter Macbeth and Lennox, with Ross
Enter Malcolm and Donalbain
Malcolm
                              O, by whom?

Macduff

                              Help me hence, ho!

Malcolm

Aside to Donalbain
Why do we hold our tongues,

Malcolm

Aside to Donalbain
Nor our strong sorrow

Macduff
                     And so do I.

All
                                 So all.

Exeunt all but Malcolm and Donalbain.
